Waterfalls
The Bolaven Plateau is located in the crater from an ancient volcano. The mountains with waterfalls around the Bolaven Plateau is also a part from that same old volcano. The micro climate at the Bolaven Plateau is that from a rain forest, extremely good to have the whole year exceptional nice waterfalls.
Paksong Waterfalls at the Bolaven Plateau
From Paksong its very easy to travel to the most waterfalls at the Bolaven Plateau.

From Paksong: Tat Fane is less then 15 minutes by public transportation, and also less then 15 minutes by Motorbike.
Here are the instructions.
Take a Songthow or bus in the direction to Pakse, ask to stop at Tat Fane, walk to Tat Fane and on your way back you can walk to Tat Cham Pee waterfall on the opposite side from the main road.
There are every hour Songthows and buses to Paksong v.v.
Tat E-Tu
Between Pakse and Paksong at km 35.
There are stairs (down) to the waterfall, there is also a restaurant and a resort in the higher price class.
Tat Fane
120 Meters high, Between Pakse and Paksong at km 38.
At Tat Fane is a restaurant, a resort, Koffies Coffee shop with fresh roasted coffee and informative coffee tours. Free wifi zone.
Tat Cham Pee
Between Pakse and Paksong at km 38
At the same junction as Tat Fane, a great waterfall to have a swimm, walk behind the waterfall or have a great pick-nick.
Tat Yuang
Between Pakse and Paksong at KM 40
You can see the waterfall from the top and the bottom side, road can be very slippery in the rainy season.
Tat Katamtok
The largest waterfall from the Bolaven Plateau, 160 meter.
