Weather forecast.

May

In the morning its dry, sometimes cloudy, in the afternoon it can be rain (most of the times 30 minutes.)

Temperatures are between 22 in nighttime and 28-30 in daytime, during heavy rainfall the temperature can temporary drop until 20 degrees.

This unique weather conditions in combination with the altitude and the lava soil makes Lao Coffee one of the best coffees in the world.

Sometimes the Bolaven Plateau is spelled as "Bolivian Plateau", "Bolovons Plateaux" or "Boloven Plateau", the same story for Paksong, thats sometimes spelled as "Pak Song", "Paksan", "Pakson" or "Pakxong"
Rainy seizon.
The rainy seizon starts during the 'summer' in april and ends in October. Temperature is between 26 and 32 degrees and during  rainfall the temperature can drop under the 22 degrees for a couple of minutes.

During the rainy seizon it can rain every day for a 30 minutes and in the evening its cooler then the normal Lao climate. For the most travelers its a pleasent surprise because it means that they can have a good sleep without an airconditioner or fan what the feeling gives that they are back to normal for a couple of days.

During your stay at the Bolaven Plateau you will see everywhere lava rocks...
